Eternal Life is an apostolate inspired by the teachings and spiritual direction of Fr. John Hardon with the express intention of educating Catholics in the full teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Regretfully, it is no surprise that the average Catholic is unaware of the depths of the history and teachings of the Church within which they stand. Eternal Life’s annual Church Teaches Forum is one of the major efforts of the organization to remedy this unfortunate state of affairs.
Eternal Life is sponsoring this year’s forum in Louisville, KY on July 17 and 18, which is entitled “Marriage Covenant: God’s Plan.” Saint John Paul II has said that the way the family goes, so goes society. We are at a crucial time in salvation history, and the family stands at the center of the make or break of the future.
This year we will be graced by the presence of His Eminence, Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke, who will be opening the forum with Holy Mass and the keynote address. The speakers that follow will be enlightening us on such topics as the prophetic nature of Paul VI’s Humanae Vitae, the connection between marriage and the liturgy, marriage in Scripture, and chastity in marriage.
